A Venus Gong is a planetary-tuned gong. Makers use Hans Cousto’s Cosmic Octave calculations to map astronomical cycles into audible frequencies. Common Venus Gong models are tuned around 221.23Hz.
A useful distinction: this does not scientifically mean the gong is ‘broadcasting Venus.’ It is a musical-mathematical mapping system that became part of the planetary gong tradition.
